EDUCATION AND WORKSHOPS

Bringing opera alive for young people and communities

Rogue Opera Education

We are passionate about bringing the magic of opera alive for young people and have done a number of successful sound and movement workshops with London schools. We can develop structured, interactive sessions to educate and entertain and even pair workshops with one of our compact opera productions.

Online Resources

We have developed a library of online video resources, taken from our livestream shows during the Pandemic, including:

  • performances of arias and duets by Rogue Opera's professional singers
  • 5 minute opera synopsis videos presented by our team bringing their favourite operas alive
  • a 'Treading the Boards of History' series delving into the history of opera and theatre
  • our catchy "Secco60" series - 60 second videos explaining a piece of musical terminology

These can be which can be used as support material for Rogue Opera led in-person or online sessions, or offered as an on-demand package for teachers to incorporate into lesson plans.

Flexible Packages

Workshops and education experiences can be presented as a stand-alone session or a series of regular events for schools, community groups, after school clubs or holiday clubs. We can deliver these in-person, online or in a hybrid format.
