Will it all work out in the end?

FAMILY. . . DREAMS. . . LOVE

Rossini's La Cenerentola

A re-imagining of the Cinderella story

TRUE LOVE WINS OUT OVER FAMILY DYSFUNCTION, CLASS & AMBITION

Rogue Opera’s next production – originally planned for September – is Rossini's sparkling La Cenerentola.

We will be taking a fresh look at Cinderella, exploring her fate and (mis)fortunes in a world where glass slippers and fairy godmothers have less to do with the story's ending than her determination to create a meaningful life for herself. (Suitable for all ages.)

This will be a chamber production for singers and piano. Music Direction by Guy Murgatroyd; Choreography and Direction by Michelle Buckley and Bronwen Stephens-Harding.

We'll keep you posted about performance dates

With lockdown restrictions still affecting the performing arts, we can't yet set a date for our premiere of La Cenerentola. We are hoping we can bring our production to live audiences before the end of 2020.

In the meantime, check out our online offerings.
