Rogue Opera launched its debut chamber production Carmen in 2018, followed by Don Giovanni in 2019.
Post-pandemic our fully-staged offerings have focused on original bespoke productions – weaving together opera’s big hits and hidden gems with a new script in English, retaining the original characters and themes and re-imaging stories for today’s audience.
Our original productions, for four singers and pianist are: A Modern Opera Love Story, A Rogue Opera Cabaret and Lovers, Losers and Larrikins.
Future plans include Rossini’s La Cenerentola and Mozart’s Così fan tutte.
